A new trailer from TMS Entertainment gives us a first glimpse of upcoming space fishing anime The Space Between the Sky and Sea, slated to debut in Japan this October.
Adapted from a mobile game by Sony-owned studio ForwardWorks, The Space Between the Sky and Sea (aka Sora to Umi no Aida) is set in the near future when all the fish have disappeared from the world’s oceans. With Japan still craving yummy seafood, the nation’s Ministry of Fisheries decides to construct a series of vast experimental fish tanks …in space! Directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa, TMS’s new anime follows the astro-aquatic adventures of six young women selected to fish these strange extraterrestrial waters.
