Bright, brash and totally bonkers beat-em-up Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released for Nintendo Switch on September 28th, Bandai Namco has confirmed.

All previously released characters on other platforms will be available for purchase from day one, while anyone who pre-orders the Switch version will get access to a couple of cool bonuses. The first is immediate access to the characters Goku and Vegeta SSGSS. The second is a copy of the Japanese version of the classic SNES fighting game Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden.

Dragon Ball FighterZ was originally released for PS4, Xbox One and PC this January to extremely positive reviews and became the fastest selling Dragon Ball game of all-time. Might be worth checking out then when it launches on Nintendo Switch later this year.

Meanwhile, in other Dragon Ball related news, the cumbersomely titled Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Extra Pack 3 DLC was also given a release date for later this Summer. It’ll add Super Baby Vegeta, who is apparently a long-awaited character, a 100% real thing and not some silly joke Bandai Namco have made us all fall for. Ok then!
