The original game is already a big favourite of ours from previous MCM Comic Con shows, so we’re delighted to hear that PQube and The Gentlebros have announced Cat Quest 2: The Lupus Empire.

Cat Quest 2 will offer up another delightful RPG adventure as two rival moggies must pair up to take down the greater threat of the warring Lupus Empire. Yes, that means co-op play is coming in the sequel and you’ll also be able to play as either a cat OR a dog – which kind of ruins the whole point of the name, but, whatever. Hooray, dogs!

Going by the debut trailer, it looks like you’ll be undertaking another colourful quest across the land of Felingard and beyond. New weapons and spells will add more combat options, and you’ll be able to mix and match a host of passive abilities to create some unique combinations for your feline friend.

Cat Quest 2: The Lupus Empire will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC in 2019.
