Remastered versions of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yazuka 5 will be released on PS4, Sega has confirmed.

The news comes from the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation, via Gematsu, which also reveals the three games will be released over the next twelve months in Japan.

Currently, Yakuza 3 has a release date pencilled in for August 9, Yakuza 4 will follow in Autumn 2018 and Yazuka 5 will launch sometime in Spring 2019.

The remasters will feature the exact same content in the original PS3 releases, but with the added performance bump to run in 1080p resolution at 60fps.

While no announcement of a Western release has been made yet, we fully expect one to eventually, considering how the previous Yakuza remasters have also made the journey outside Japan.
