Manga UK provides the nutrient-rich anime that bulks out today’s release round-up, with a box set of Pokémon movies and the latest instalment of Naruto Shippuden both on the menu from the London-based distributor.

The four-DVD, English audio-only Pokémon Movie Collection 10-13: Diamond & Pearl features a quartet of films from the famous franchise – The Rise of Darkrai, Giratina and the Sky Warrior, Arceus and the Jewel of Life and Zoroark – Master of Illusions.

Debuting in Japan in 2007, The Rise of Darkrai sees Ash, Dawn and Brock racing to save idyllic Alamos Town from the space and time warping powers of Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia. The only hope comes in the shape of Darkrai, a shadowy Pokémon shunned by the townsfolk.

In 2008’s Giratina and the Sky Warrior, a scientist attempts to harness the power of Legendary Pokémon Giratina and take over the Reverse World. Meanwhile, Ash and friends help out a cute, telepathic Pokémon named Shaymin that’s trying to make its way to the Gracidea Flower garden for a special ritual.

Arceus and the Jewel of Life (2009) opens with Ash, Dawn and Brock arriving in Michina Town, which is on the verge of being annihilated by creator of the world Arceus, who’s angry at humanity for the theft of the Jewel of Life. Ash and the gang are sent back in time to set things right …and save the world!

Released in 2010, Zoroark – Master of Illusions sees Ash in Crown City to watch the Pokémon Baccer World Cup. However, greedy businessman Grings Kodai is also in town to capture the Mythical Pokémon Celebi – and he’s using shape-shifting Pokémon Zoroark to help achieve his nefarious ends.

Also out today is Naruto Shippuden Box 32, a two DVD set featuring Episodes 402-415 of studio Pierrot’s best-selling shonen show. This latest instalment sees Kiba and his team pursue a stolen scroll, while Sakura, Ino and Choji battle their way across a scorching desert.

Meanwhile, Neji’s team sets out to rescue Gaara after an attack targets his Tailed Beast. However, a meeting with the mastermind of the assault has Gaara wrestling with his past actions and his worthiness to be leader of the Sand. And back in the present, with Nine Tails extracted from him, Naruto lies dying …will our orange-jumpsuited hero pull through?
