Lucifer’s Tom Ellis is to appear at MCM London Comic Con, meeting fans on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 May. Announced as a guest over the weekend, the Welsh star plays the title role in the fan fave supernatural crime drama, whose recent cancellation sparked a huge #SaveLucifer and #PickUpLucifer social media campaign from dismayed viewers.

Based on a comic book series by Neil Gaiman (Stardust, American Gods), Lucifer sees Ellis’s bored Devil quit the throne of Hell to run a nightclub in Los Angeles. After getting mixed up in a murder case, the erstwhile Lord of Hell finds himself in the unexpected role of LAPD consultant, working alongside Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German).

While Ellis may be best known internationally as fallen angel Lucifer Morningstar, the Cardiff-born actor also has a bunch of British TV credits to his name, including ITV sitcom Miranda, Doctor Who, Merlin, The Fades, EastEnders and The Catherine Tate Show.

MCM London returns to ExCel London on 25-27 May. Tickets to the show are available here.
