Coming from the brilliant mind of beloved comics creator Stan Lee and his POW! Production Company, Stan Lee’s Lucky Man is one of Sky 1’s most successful drama series and got a second season confirmed the day the first one ended in the UK. Spinning out of a question a fan once asked Lee about what super power he’d like to have; the series focuses on a detective/ compulsive gambler who is gifted a magical bracelet that allows him to control luck. While he’s initially thrilled that he can now gamble to his heart’s content and constantly win, he soon finds out that everything comes with a price and his newfound luck comes at a cost to the people around him.
Not only that, with pressures from his colleagues in the police who aren’t sure they can trust him, the mystery of the woman who gave him the bracelet, conflict with his ex-wife and a crime-lord hellbent on obtaining the magic bracelet that gives him his luck, Harry’s got his work cut out for him in Season 1. The action picks up again in Season 2 where he meets a woman called Isabella who like him has a bracelet that gives her the power to control luck. But does she really have Harry’s best interests at heart?
