Cosplayer, model, gamer and artist Ivy Doomkitty is the latest guest to be announced for next month’s MCM London Comic Con.

Based in Los Angeles, Ivy has been attending conventions for over 14 years, but it’s the last five that have seen her gain international recognition as a cosplayer. A cast member of IGN’s Hero Makeover, guest judge on Syfy series Heroes of Cosplay and cover model for Cosplay Culture magazine, the US cosplayer is a popular presence on the comic con scene, regularly participating in panels and hosting costume contests.

Ivy is also well known for championing the cause of body acceptance and what she calls ‘cospositivity’ in the cosplay community, making it her mission to show people that they can take part in the hobby they love regardless of gender, skin colour, sexual orientation, body shape, size or age.
