Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory is to be streamed in the UK after all, following Anime Limited’s acquisition of the rights to the comedy actioner’s long-awaited fourth season.

Originally one of Crunchyroll’s few Spring 2018 titles unavailable in the UK and Ireland, the pick-up means that Invisible Victory will now be simulcast in the region. Produced by animation studio Xebec, Invisible Victory is due to premiere on Japanese TV later today.

The fourth instalment of Full Metal Panic! picks up the action following the events of The Second Raid, with Sousuke and his colleagues at Mithril under attack at their from a rival organisation known as Amalgam. Planetarian helmer Katsuichi Nakayama is in the director’s seat, with original Full Metal Panic! author Shoji Gatoh handling the script.

As with Tokyo Ghoul:re, Anime Limited adds that we’re unlikely to hear any news of a DVD or Blu-ray release for Invisible Victory until mid-2019 at the earliest.
