The first trailer for Drew Pearce’s Hotel Artemis has been released by Global Road Entertainment, which features an all-star cast led by Jodie Foster and Sterling K. Brown.

Set in 2028 in Los Angeles, after a heist results in Waikiki (Sterling K. Brown) and his gang getting injured, he makes a call to Hotel Artemis. Run by The Nurse (Jodie Foster), Hotel Artemis moonlights as a secret members-only hospital for criminals with its own set of rules (think the Continental Hotel from John Wick).

You can catch a glimpse of the ten rules in the trailer, a few of which include, “no fighting with or killing other patients, no guns or any type of weapon permitted through the gates,” and “absolutely no visitors.” With Ty Segall’s Thank God For Sinners playing throughout the trailer, we see that some of these rules end up being broken.

Written, directed and produced by Drew Pearce, screenwriter of Iron Man 3 and Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Hotel Artemis is Pearce’s first feature film as a director. The film is also Foster’s first acting role since working on Elysium back in 2013. The cast includes Sofia Boutella, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Tyree Henry, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista,

Hotel Artemis is set to open in the US on 8 June 2018 and in the UK on 20 July 2018.
