Lovecraftian horror board game Mansions of Madness is to get a videogame adaptation, Fantasy Flight Games (FFG) has announced. Mansions of Madness: Mother’s Embrace is slated to hit Steam in the first quarter of 2019 and will be published by Asmodee Digital, which is currently also adapting hit tabletop titles Terraforming Mars, Scythe and the Lord of the Rings LCG.

FFG’s 2016 second edition of Mansions of Madness already made waves by embracing app-driven gameplay to create a fully co-operative narrative experience, and Mother’s Embrace promises to up immersion levels even further. Developed by LuckyHammers, the 1920’s –set game puts you in charge of a trio of investigators attempting to solve the eldritch mysteries of a spooky Arkham mansion. We’re expecting tentacles.
