UK games publisher PQube is to bring risqué on-rails shooter Gal*Gun 2 to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on 13 April in Europe and 24 April in North America.
Despite its moniker, Gal*Gun 2 is actually the fourth title in Japanese developer Inti Creates’ infamous series about taking on waves of enemies in a light-hearted on-rails blaster shooting anime schoolgirls with your love gun.
Featuring new girls, new gadgets, new modes and an improved Doki Doki Mode, the newest addition to the Gal*Gun franchise sees Kurona the Demon return to wreak havoc on the Academy once again. It’s down to the player to exorcise all the possessed girls by ‘hitting their pleasure spots until they explode in euphoria’ (thanks for that, PQube!) and sucking the lil’ devils out of them with a supernatural vacuum. A vacuum that, wholly incidentally, also removes their dresses. It’s… look, just watch the damn trailer, okay?

In slightly less chipper news for publisher PQube, today also brought the announcement that ecchi dungeon crawler Omega Labyrinth Z has proved a bit too ecchi for the censors, being denied a certificate in the UK and Ireland, Germany, Australia and New-Zealand.
“There won’t be any movement on it,” PQube commented on Twitter. “The USK appeal we tried was rejected, other appeals would have yielded the same result so those decisions are final.”
