Last year saw a nearly one metre tall Lapras plushie for children released via Japan’s Pokémon Center online. Now Premium Bandai have decided to go one better, releasing an even bigger 1.2 metre tall Lapras plushie.

The large sea creature has been seen in the anime series transporting people across water. Ash also captured a baby Lapras in the original Pokémon series and used it to travel around the Orange Archipelago islands.

Premium Bandai’s ultra huge Lapras is big enough for you to get on its back and ride should you want to use it for your own Pokémon journey, measuring 1.2 metres tall, 2 metres wide and weighing 16kg.

The Lapras plushie carries a retail price of ¥79,400 (around $743 / £537). Pre-orders are open and it is scheduled to ship sometime in July.

For those of you outside of Japan, Premium Bandai has listed a number of proxy services that will ship internationally. Premium Bandai also notes that this Lapras actually has a foldable structure for the convenience of shipping. So it won’t be a struggle when it comes to getting it through your front door.
