Canadian comic artist David Finch, who recently scooped an Eisner Award for his short story ‘Good Boy’ in Batman Annual #1, will be among the guests making MCM Birmingham Comic Con’s Comic Village their home when the show returns to the NEC next month.

Having begun his comics career at Top Cow on titles Cyberforce and Ascension, David Finch moved to Marvel where he collaborated with writer and fellow Eisner-winner Brian Michael Bendis on acclaimed runs of Ultimate X-Men and The New Avengers. Finch’s stint at Marvel also saw him working on the revamped Moon Knight series alongside novelist Charlie Huston, as well as illustrating Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America.

Moving to DC Comics in 2010, David Finch worked with Grant Morrison on Batman before writing and pencilling his own series on the Caped Crusader, Batman: The Dark Knight. In 2013, Finch and Geoff Johns launched the Justice League of America and Forever Evil series, while 2015 saw him team up with wife Meredith Finch on Wonder Woman. Finch also recently collaborated with Tom King to launch the Batman Vol. 3 series as part of 2016’s ‘DC Rebirth’ title relaunch.

MCM Birmingham Comic Con comes to the NEC on 17-18 March. Tickets to the show are available here.
