MCM London Comic Con’s certainly not being stingy when it comes to voice talent today –  a few hours after main Star Wars Rebels cast member Taylor Gray was announced comes the news that anime actor Tara Sands has also been added to the guest list for May.

Best known for playing Bulbasaur in Pokémon and Mokuba Kaiba in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Sands has been on the voice-acting scene since high school, with roles ranging from old school classics such as Rayearth, Rurouni Kenshin and Slayers Try to recent series like Little Witch Academia, One Punch Man and Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt. Last year also saw Sands scoop a BTVA Award as part of the cast of Digimon Adventure Tri movie Reunion, where she starred as Kari Kamiya.

In addition to her many animation roles, Sands was also the on-camera host of Cartoon Network’s Fridays block for two years, presenting more than 100 episodes of the weekly show. She has also worked a wide range of videogame titles, including Nier: Automata, Tales of Berseria, Disgaea 5, Final Fantasy XV and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

MCM London Comic Con returns to ExCel London on 25-27 May. Tickets to the show are available here.
