With the new year rolling in, 2018 marks the beginning of a new schedule for K-pop concerts within Europe. Within the first month, idols such as AlphaBat, Se7en, Monsta X, Taihiti, and 7 O’Clock have already visited London and held fan meetings and concerts for their fans. It was brought to our attention that Young Bros (known for their K-hip-hop nights and K-pop dance parties) will be taking on a new venture with the announcement that rookie K-pop boy group VAV (Very Awesome Voices) will be going on their “Spotlight Tour” in Europe.

We previously reported on VAV back in 2016 when the group released their song Under The Moonlight with an interesting concept webtoon that accompanied the story of the music video. Since then there has been a lot that has changed and the group has grown bigger and better than ever. For those who are new to VAV, they are under AQ Entertainment and consist of members St.Van, Ace, Jacob, Baron, and new members Ziu, Ayno, and Lou (the latter two were originally trainees at Starship Entertainment who were contestants on the TV reality show “NO. MERCY“). VAV debuted back in 2015, but when Zehan and GyeoUl left the group to follow their own respective career paths, three new members joined. The newly formed group debuted in 2017 with a fresh and stylish outlook.

VAV has so far released five songs with their new members; Venus (Dance With Me), which featured mature vocals, a playful music video and a very catchy hook; Flower (You), which has the perfect beat for a springtime release; ABC, which is slightly more upbeat as a summer party themed song, and She’s Mine, a complete contrast to their previous tracks as the group debuted a mature and dark concept.

VAV’s most recent mini-album and single of the same name, Spotlight, was released on 28th January 2018. As the members evolve and find themselves as entertainers and artists, with their latest track you can truly see the growth of this rookie group changing to fit the music obsessions of the times.
