Visual novels Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative are heading West for a PS Vita release this summer, UK publisher PQube has announced. Blending romantic comedy with giant robots, the two English-language sci-fi titles will receive digital and physical releases in both Europe and North America.

Muv-Luv – which contains both the ‘Muv-Luv Extra’ and ‘Muv-Luv Unlimited’ storylines – and sequel Muv-Luv Alternative will be available bundled together and separately. The games follow teen protagonist Shirogane Takeru from the typically wacky setting of a high school harem comedy to a bleak parallel world where mankind is on the brink of destruction at the hands of alien invaders.
