Sadly, this teaser trailer is as vague as the Expanse season three official description…

Picking up immediately following the emotional and suspenseful second season finale, the 13-episode third season finds Earth, Mars and The Belt at war, with each competing entity vying for control. Now, more than ever, the mission to unlock the secret of the protomolecule reaches an all-time high and every decision made could jeopardize the survival of the solar system.

Doesn’t give much away, does it? Amos has a full-on beard, Chrisjen looks terrified and Annoying Marine Draper, played by Frankie Adams, is in an environment suit. Incidentally, Adams will also pop up in Peter Jackson’s epic new movie Mortal Engines.

However, with this trailer is the date that season 3 – consisting of 13 episodes – starts, April 11th, on Syfy, but there’s no mention yet whether it will be available on Amazon Prime, like season 2 was last year.
