Ahead of the release of their eighth album HONEY, SCANDAL has ‘officially’ released the music video to opening track Platform Syndrome. While parts of the video have previously made their way online, this is the full version.

The music video sees members Haruna Ono (guitar and vocals), Mami Sasazaki (guitar and vocals), Rina Suzuki (drums and vocals) and Tomomi Ogawa (bass and vocals) rocking out in the studio. The track was written and arranged by Mami, with lyrics penned by Rina. The track is also one of the instant gratification tracks on iTunes from the album and is available to download right now.

HONEY is released in Japan on 14 February 2018 and digitally across Europe on the same date. The physical CD is released in Europe on 2 March 2018 from JPU Records with English lyric translations and transliterations. Due to high demand, JPU Records limited edition bundle that includes a t-shirt and plectrum has had its units increased. After it sells out, it is gone forever.

The band will also be going on a tour across Japan from 3 March 2018 to promote the new album.
