Last month’s Mya Tenshi was created by illustrator and graphic designer Mark Critchell. The former art editor of magazines such as SFX‘s Book of the Walking Dead and Boys’ Toys had this to say about the eye-catching piece: “I opted for a digital composition in Photoshop, montaging an array of image resources and adding layers of airbrush, blends and digital illustration.”
Mya is MyM Buzz’s official mascot and used to appear on the editor’s letter page of MyM magazine. She has been drawn in many different forms by MyM readers, as well as by a number of professional artists.
