The first trailer, teaser and poster have been unveiled for the next Pokémon film, revealing that it will be titled Pokémon the Movie: Everyone’s Story. Due to hit Japanese theatres on 13 July, Everyone’s Story will star a quintet of new characters alongside main duo Ash and Pikachu – Pokémon newbie Lisa, mysterious girl Largo, timid researcher Torito boastful Kagachi and Hisui, an eccentric, Pokémon-hating old lady.

The 21st Pokémon movie and the second in the new reboot series, Everyone’s Story will be helmed by Tetsuo Yajima, who was the assistant director on last year’s I Choose You!, although long-time Pokémon film director Kunihiko Yuyama will still be involved in the project as animation supervisor. Meanwhile, production duties will be shared between OLM and WIT Studio, best known for the hugely successful Attack on Titan.
