The latest expansion to genre-defining MMORPG World of Warcraft will be released later this Summer, Blizzard has confirmed.

Pre-orders for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth were made live last night from Blizzard’s Battle.net store, with the clarification that the game will be released on or before September 21st.

Players who do commit themselves to the game early can begin the path to recruiting the four new Allied Races in the expansion. By completing quests and earning reputation you can unlock the Void Elves, the Lightforged Draenei, the Nightborne or the Highmountain Tauren and run through the game as that race.

You’ll also be granted a level-110 character boost immediately to get you all prepared for the upcoming war between the Horde and Alliance.

A standard copy of the game will set you back $49.99, whereas the Deluxe Edition comes in at $69.99 and includes a number of bonus items across multiple Blizzard titles. This includes a Hearthstone card back, StarCraft 2 sprays, a Heroes of the Storm mount, plus voice lines and player icons in Overwatch.
