Welcome to the latest instalment in Magic: The Gathering, as the second part of the Ixalan set is released. Featuring lots of vampires, dinosaurs and other beasties, Rivals of Ixalan is a must-have set for any aspiring player.

The four tribes from the Ixalan set (Pirates, Dinosaurs, Vampires, and Merfolk) all return, using the same mechanics. Meanwhile, new cards power up tribal strategies, while an additional mechanic called Ascend allows you to increase your power by claiming the city’s blessing. There are also more double-faced cards that transform into powerful legendary lands.

Players can buy boosters, ready-made Planeswalker decks and Bundles, as they collect this 196-card set and build worthy decks to smash their enemies. The Two featured Planeswalkers are Vraska, Scheming Gorgon and Angrath, Minotaur Pirate and their two battle-ready decks include eight new-to-Magic cards!

MyMBuzz will also be playing in the Magic: The Gathering Grand Prix event in London on Saturday 27 January. The main event runs from 9am until 11pm on Sunday 28 January, and will give players the chance to show off their strategies with the Ixalan expansion.
