Get ready to hear that iconic chortle all over again as Final Fantasy 6 supervillain Kefka is set to debut in zero-to-hero MMORPG Final Fantasy 14.

The conniving clown is one of the many references made to the sixth entry in the JPRG series in the latest update to Final Fantasy 14. If you keep your eyes peeled throughout the trailer you’ll also spot a form of the iconic Phantom Train boss, for example. We wonder if anyone will be able to suplex it this time?

All of this will form part of the game’s latest Raid wing in the Omega series, which has recently used elements of Final Fantasy 5 as influences.

Patch 4.2 will also add a whole bunch of new content to the game, including Main Scenario quests, a new trial against Byakko, new dungeons, beast tribe quests with the Ananta and PvP updates.
