Made by YouTuber CaptainJZH, Trek Wars (it already sounds like a ghost-written Bill Shatner novel) is a fan trailer that imagines the sci-fi crossover that will never, ever happen. The Death Star is on a direct course for Earth, the crew of the starship Enterprise teams up with the Rebel Alliance to stop it!

It’s been edited together from old Star Trek movies and the original Star Wars trilogy and it does a pretty good job of bringing together the best heroes of two universes to save the day.

Perhaps this is the best evidence yet that fans from both bases can live together happily in peace…and we can forget comments like the one Adam Savage made at Comic-Con in July.
