Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You had a limited cinema screening across the UK courtesy of Fathom Events. But if you didn’t catch it then don’t worry, for it will be screened on CITV this December.

Highlighted by Anime News UK, and the schedule at Freeview, the film will be screened on CITV on Friday 8 December at 4:00pm and Saturday 9 December at 9:25am.

The 20th feature film in the Pokémon franchise, it retells Ash and Pikachu’s first meeting and their adventure as they search for the Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh. As well as meeting familiar faces, Ash and Pikachu meet some new characters, including Trainers Verity and Sorrel, and also a mysterious new Mythical Pokémon, Marshadow.

Manga Entertainment will also be releasing the film on DVD on 12 February 2018, with a limited edition Blu-ray Steelbook to follow on 30 April 2018.
