Universal Pictures has revealed that the first full trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will arrive on Thursday…and in the meantime we have our first bit of new footage in a new teaser for the new trailer. (How did that ever get to be a thing?)
In it, we see Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) running from a big, bellowing cloud of black smoke, shouting. Then we see what he’s running from.
The sequel to Colin Trevorrow’s less-than-epic Jurassic World (2015), will be on general release on June 22, next year. Directed by JA Bayona, it once again stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard and hoards of disgruntled dinosaurs in all-round paleontological panic.
It’s unclear at this early stage if Bryce Dallas Howard will be running through heavy foliage in high heels, but Bayona has said this sequel will “be darker and scarier than the previous film.”
