Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom first full trailer finally arrives

After a week of tidbits, teasers and other tantalizing offerings, the first full trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom has finally arrived.

Aired first on US national TV during NBC’s Thursday Night Football game at 8:55pm ET (1:55am UK time) – and, let’s be honest, why else would you be subjecting yourself to a mind-numbingly boring game of NFL – thankfully, it popped up in YouTube just a few minutes later.

We know that years after the events of the less-than-epic Jurassic World (2015), a volcanic eruption threatens the remaining dinosaurs on the island of Isla Nublar, where the animals have freely roamed after the demise of the park. Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), the former park manager, has now founded the Dinosaur Protection Group, an organisation dedicated to protecting the dinosaurs. To help with her cause, Claire has recruited Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), a former dinosaur trainer who worked at the park, to prevent the extinction of the dinosaurs.

So, what, are you dating like an accountant now..??

Joining Dallas Howard and Pratt are B. D. Wong, James Cromwell, Toby Jones and Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm.

Dearing tells Grady that Blue, the velociraptor from the first Jurassic World movie, is still alive as the whole thing starts off quite slow and almost tongue in cheek. Then it unfolds…and we get a crescendo of gradually building action…but you know what, just watch the trailer yourself and see what you think.

Rumored to have cost in the region of $260million, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is scheduled for release on June 22, 2018 with an early release in the UK on June 7, 2018.
