J-rock group BAND-MAID have only just finished their One-Man Okyuuji Tour, but they’re already gearing up for 2018, with news of a new album, another tour and a new logo (pictured above – the maid’s ribbon).

As reported on Natalie and on BAND-MAID’s official site, they will be releasing a second full album called WORLD DOMINATION. The band have always stated that their purpose is world domination, so it’s little wonder that that’s the title.

WORLD DOMINATION is released on 14 February 2018. with two Limited Edition versions:
Limited Edition A comes with a Blu-ray featuring their serving at Shinkiba STUDIO COAST, which took place on 24 November 2017 and saw them play 25 tracks.
Limited Edition B comes with DVD of the Shinkiba STUDIO COAST serving.
The Normal Edition is just the CD, but includes a bonus track, the band’s cover of Mucc’s Honey (which was originally released on Mucc’s album Shangri-La).

BAND-MAID also revealed that their debut mini-album MAID IN JAPAN will also be re-released on 14 February 2018, with two additional tracks – Love, Passion, Matador and Summer Drive. Released in back in January 2014, MAID IN JAPAN has long been out of print.

They will also start their WORLD DOMINATION tour from April 2018 in Japan, currently listing three dates:
4 April 2018 – Nagoya, Diamond Hall
6 April 2018 – Osaka, Namba Hatch
13 April 2018 – Tokyo, Zepp Tokyo

On their Facebook page, they state, “From Japan to all over the world…” indicating that international dates will be announced soon.
