It was reported that the new film Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! features a newly recorded version of the classic Pokémon theme song. Now the official Pokémon YouTube channel has uploaded a preview of the new version.

The anime series may be about to reach 1000 episodes, but the original theme song performed by Jason Paige was only ever heard in the first series of the anime. It has since become synonymous with the franchise. You can sing your heart out to the new version when watching the film on the big screen, but for now, you’ll have to make do with a preview which you can hear in the video below.
