The official website for the live-action film of Fullmetal Alchemist has been updated with what’s likely to be the final trailer for the film before its release in Japan.

Directed by Fumihiko Sori (of Ping Pong and Vexille), the film adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s manga follows the brothers Edward (played by Ryousuke Yamada) and Alphonse (Atomu Mizuishi). After a failed attempt using alchemy to resurrect their dead mother leaves Edward and Alphonse’s bodies severely damaged, they set off to find the Philosopher’s Stone in order to restore themselves.

The film will have IMAX and 4DX screenings, and so this IMAX trailer mostly showcases a lot of action clips, clearly cut to persuade you into spending that little bit extra to enjoy the film on an IMAX screen. There is some new footage too, such as a headless Alphonse and a ‘blink-and-you’ll-miss-it’ shot of Truth.

Fullmetal Alchemist opens in Japan on 1 December 2017.
