The Evil Within 2 is available today and Bethesda has released one final trailer to introduce us to the nightmarish survival-horror from Tango Gameworks.

In case you’ve been diverting your eyes from all the grotesque imagery and have no idea what the game is about, The Evil Within 2 sends Sebastian back into the warped and twisted STEM world in order to find his daughter.

The game has also moved on from the strict linear structure of the first game to offer up some more open environments for you to explore. You can track down extra resources, items or even stumble into surprising encounters in the town of Union.

As the follow up to Shinji Mikami’s 2014 original, there’s certainly a lot of Resident Evil 4 all over the game too, though the influential designer has moved over to a producer role for the sequel. Nevertheless, that’s always a good reference point.

The Evil Within 2 is released today on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
