Lifeline debuts today on YouTube Red, which, frustratingly, we can’t get in the UK. Produced by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and his business partner Dany Garcia, it’s the story of what happens when we use time travel not for science but for business. Check the trailer out below.

The show stars Zach Gilford (Friday Night Lights) and Sydney Park (The Walking Dead). Gilford plays Connor Hooks, an agent of Lifeline. Lifeline are the ultimate life insurance company, able to send their agents 33 days into the future to prevent the accidental deaths of it’s clients. Hooks is the best agent they have but when he misses a save, Norah (Parks) becomes orphaned. Pledging to protect the teenager, Hooks gets drawn into the dark side of his business, and his company and discovers just what time travel costs…

This looks really good, like Primer crossed with The Player. We’re hoping it gets picked up somewhere the UK can see it and as soon as we hear, we’ll let you know.
