The good news for green-fingered adventurers continues to roll in. After yesterday’s announcement that Stardew Valley will be available on Nintendo Switch from Thursday, Team 17 has just announced it has added Pathea’s sandbox simulation RPG, My Time at Portia, to its publishing label.

Inspired by games such as Harvest MoonAnimal Crossing and Dark Chronicle (Dark Cloud 2), you once again play as a young adult whose relative has left them a workshop and land to tend to. You’ll be able to farm, forage and spelunk in dangerous dungeons to your heart’s content, while also chatting and forging friendships with the local villagers.

If you just can’t get enough of these games then a Kickstarter campaign for My Time at Portia is in its final days and is seeking the last drop of funding to hit its $100,000 target.

Pathea has made a 6-8 hour demo available to download too if you really want to test the waters before committing, or you can tune into a livestream of the game hosted by Team 17 this Thursday at 18:00 BST on Twitch.

Assuming everything goes to plan My Time at Portia will be available for PC via Steam Early Access at the start of 2018. A console release is currently planned for late 2018.
