Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! will receive a limited cinema release around the world for two days on Sunday 5 November and Monday 6 November 2017, courtesy of Fathom Events. Cinemas screening the film in the UK have been revealed and tickets are now on sale.

The 20th feature film in the Pokémon franchise tells of Ash and Pikachu’s first meeting and their adventures as they search for the Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh. As well as meeting familiar faces, Ash and Pikachu meet some new characters, including Trainers Verity and Sorrel, and also a mysterious new Mythical Pokémon, Marshadow.

Along with the film, fans will also get to view never-before-seen animated shorts featuring Pikachu, Rowlet, Litten and Popplio, as well as a special montage looking back at the previous animated Pokémon movies, set to a newly recorded version of the classic Pokémon theme song.

At the screening, fans will receive a special, never-before-seen card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game of Ash’s Pikachu wearing Ash’s hat. They’ll also receive a QR code for the upcoming Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, unlocking Ash’s Pikachu wearing Ash’s hat.

The film is showing on the big screen in the UK at Cineworld, Empire, VUE, Savoy and Showcase cinemas around the UK, as well as a few others. The list is below.
