New poster and trailer revealed for Perfect Blue’s 20th anniversary screenings

All the Anime have revealed a brand new poster and trailer for Satoshi Kon’s astonishing breakthrough film Perfect Blue, ahead of the 20th anniversary screenings celebrating the anime later this month.

The unrelenting debut feature of the anime auteur is set to return to the big screen with an exclusive event on October 27, with  the film then opening in cinemas nationwide on October 31. It’s the perfect Halloween treat!

The cult classic anime sees pop idol turned actress Mima lose sense of reality when she starts seeing visions, is tormented by a bizarre stalker, and finds a blog which gives a detailed account of her life. When her associates start to turn up dead that’s when she finally cracks,  and she is left helpless as delusions and reality begin to collide.

The brand new trailer from All the Anime gives viewers a taste of the madness within, this event is perfect for all anime fans and those that want to see why the late Satoshi Kon’s work is unparalleled in the industry even now.
