Back in October, IO Interactive teased us with a forthcoming announcement on the future of the Hitman series. Well, the time has come, and today the developer revealed a Game of the Year Edition featuring the bald-headed assassin, plus a selection of new content.

First up, the Game of the Year Edition will be available digitally from November 7th on PS4, Xbox One and PC. It’ll contain all missions, challenges and contracts released during Season One, as well as all the new content the developer has been working on over the last few months.

The most significant of these new additions is the Patient Zero Campaign, which sends Agent 47 on a four mission adventure to prevent a virus from spreading across the globe. It’ll rework locations previously seen in Season One with new enemies, new day/night settings and new music by the game’s composer, Niels Bye Nielsen.

Elsewhere, you’ll be able to wear new disguises and equip unique weapons, including a clown suit, a cowboy outfit and a magnum pistol. These disguises also come with their own escalation contract missions to test your skills.

In terms of pricing, new players will be able to buy Game of the Year Edition for $60. If you’ve already dipped into the game and purchased Season One then you can pick up the Game of the Year Upgrade for $20 to get all of the new content.
