Things are about to get spooky in Eorzea with the start of this year’s All Saints’ Wake in-game event in Final Fantasy XIV.

Beginning this week and running until November 1st, you’ll be able to take part in a new series of quests to investigate a strange new traveller from distant lands.

You’ll also be able to earn a number of new items, including werewolf costumes for your character and a selection of Halloween-themed housing decorations.

You can head to Old Gridania to begin the event quest chain.

In other Final Fantasy XIV news, October 24th marks the launch of Patch 4.11. The MMO’s latest update will add one of the game’s most difficult raid challenges: Unending Coil of Bahamut (Ultimate). If you thought Extreme and Savage battles were hard then this is expected to stump even the most hardened raid veterans.
