Get ready to rip and tear all over again very soon as Bethesda has confirmed that glorious FPS reboot Doom will be rocket-jumping onto the Switch on November 10th.

In the video above, Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin from id Software discuss bringing the game over to the Switch and what players can expect from this new version of the game.

Unquestionably, Doom was one of the most delirious and brilliant shooters of 2016 (and, hey, maybe even one of the best of the decade), so it’s exciting to see it reach more platforms.

Is it perfectly suited to Nintendo’s handheld and console hybrid? That’s tough to say. It definitely thrives on the biggest screen possible and the performance on Switch may dip a little, so it may be worth tempering expectations.

Nevertheless, it’s difficult to say no to more Doom. And that soundtrack! Oof.
