Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris DLC includes new missions, strikes and raid content

After weeks of rumours and fervent data-mining by fans, we finally have confirmation that Destiny 2‘s first expansion pack is entitled Curse of Osiris.

Revealed during the PlayStation conference at Paris Games Week, the debut trailer sets up the basic storyline of the DLC, which features a Vex uprising on Mercury and the return of a long lost guardian named Osiris. Ikora Ray seems worried whether he will be an ally to the Vanguard or a bringer of death. That’s certainly two extremes.

Later, in a blog post on the Activision site, more specific information was announced about what will be included with Curse of Osiris. You can expect all new story content, the new planet Mercury to explore, the new Lighthouse social space, new missions, new strikes and new raid content.

The qualifier on raid ‘content’ has some thinking that new features or modifiers will just be added to the current Leviathan raid, rather than the addition of a whole new raid.

Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris will be available on December 5th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. You can buy the game’s Expansion Pass to get access to both Curse of Osiris and the second unannounced DLC pack for £29.99. PS4 players will get an exclusive Crucible map with their purchase.
