Bright is Netflix’s most expensive movie so far (reportedly costing $90 million). Directed by Suicide Squad‘s David Ayer, the fantasy action film is a twist on the usual buddy cop formula, with the latest trailer showcasing cop shootouts with fantasy effects.

Bright is set in an alternate present-day where humans co-exist with fantasy creatures such as orcs, elves, and fairies. Daryl Ward (Will Smith) is a cop whose job is put to the test when he is assigned a new partner, Nick Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), an orc. During a routine patrol night, they come across a mystical weapon that could ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.

After the first trailer released over the summer, the new trailer features awkward conversations during shootouts, car chases, Will Smith getting beaten up by orcs, and bit more on just how powerful this ‘magic wand’ is. And in case you’re wondering, the tracks heard in this trailer are Migos & Marshmello’s Danger, and Home by Machine Gun Kelly, X Ambassadors & Bebe Rexha.

Scripted by Max Landis, the film also stars Noomi Rapace, Lucy Fry, Edgar Ramirez, Margaret Cho and Ike Barinholtz.

Bright arrives on Netflix on 22 December.
