Udon Entertainment has announced that it will publish the English translation of the Dragon’s Crown manga later this year.

Based on Vanillaware’s 2D side-scrolling action game, released by Atlus on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita back in 2013, the manga was first serialised in the Japanese magazine Comptiq in 2014.

Illustrated by artist yuztan, the manga follows six heroes in the Kingdom of Hydeland that have come together to quest for riches – the Fighter, the Sorceress, the Elf, the Wizard, the Amazon, and the Dwarf. Their journey sees them fighting through catacombs, castles, and labyrinths, as they seek to retrieve the most legendary of all relics, the titular Dragon’s Crown.

Udon Entertainment has also released a few preview pages of volume one.

The first volume will be released on 7 November 2017, and is already up for pre-order on Amazon UK and Amazon US, with a second and final volume to follow in 2018.
