Prepare yourselves for this one. Indie developer Ebb Software has released an extended gameplay trailer for its upcoming body horror shooter, Scorn, and it’s especially…squidgy.

After a cinematic flythrough one of the game’s levels, the footage transitions into a chunk of gameplay, featuring all sorts of bizarre organic material, creepy monster-things and flailing tendril weapons.

It is, undeniably, a bit gross. Nevertheless, it’s also rare to see something this…otherworldly…and so dedicated to a single disgusting pursuit. Surely, H.R. Giger and David Cronenberg would be proud.

Scorn has just launched a Kickstarter campaign to support the first part of the game. Pledge and you’ll get access to an early demo if you want to live out this section of the game for real. If you’d rather wait, Scorn is scheduled for release in 2018.
