Are you interested in owning Star-Lord (Peter Quill)’s helmet, as worn by Chris Pratt in Guardians of the Galaxy? Or maybe you’d like to own Thor’s hammer (Mjölnir ), as featured in the original film and used by Chris Hemsworth? If you happen to have a spare £30K, then that hammer could be yours!

Prop Store is one of the world’s leading film and TV memorabilia companies and it will be holding its fourth annual Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction on Tuesday 26 September at London’s BFI IMAX in Waterloo, London. Fans and collectors have a chance to get their hands on a piece of cinematic history, with over 600 rare and iconic lots up for auction.

Star Lord’s helmet has an estimated sale price of £30,000 – £50,000, while Thor’s Mjölnir Hammer is expected to sell for £20,000 – £30,000.

Other items going under the hammer include:

Jack Nicholson’s The Joker costume from Tim Burton’s Batman (expected to sell between £20,000 – £30,000).

Ian McKellen’s Magneto helmet and tunic from Bryan Singer’s superhero film X-Men (expected to sell between £20,000 – £30,000).

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 costume from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (expected to sell between £10,000 – £15,000).

Prop Store have also been putting a few videos on their YouTube channel offering a closer look at some of the items and the auction will also be live-streamed online.

A free to enter exhibition of some of the items is currently open to the public at the BFI IMAX.
