Dark Horse comics is revving up for New York Comic Con 2017 and has already announced details of the next nine issues of the comic adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s American Gods.

American Gods: My Ainsel, which follows Shadow Moon and Mr Wednesday as they continue their bizarre trans-American road trip to recruit reinforcements for the imminent war of the gods, will go on sale 14 March 2018.

Writer P Craig Russell (who previously adapted Gaiman’s Coraline and The Graveyard Book) and illustrator Scott Hampton (HellboyBatman) return to bring more of the complex world Gaiman created to life.

Glenn Fabry (Preacher) and Adam Brown (Predator vs. Judge Dredd vs. Aliens) also return to create stunning cover art, while David Mack (KabukiFight Club 2) adds gorgeous variant covers worthy of the gods themselves.

Readers can catch up on the series by purchasing American Gods: Shadows, which goes on sale 28 February 2018. This 264-page hardcover collects the first nine issues of the series, along with art process layouts, character designs and variant cover art by Becky Cloonan, Skottie Young, Fábio Moon, Dave McKean and more.
