Japanese heavy metal band LOVEBITES have unleashed their first music video, Shadowmaker, taken from their first full album, AWAKENING FROM ABYSS, released via JPU Records.

LOVBITES consists of asami (vocals), miho (leader and bass), haruna (drums), midori (guitar) and new member mi-ya (guitar). The video for Shadowmaker features the band thrash through six-minutes of unadulterated metal madness, one of the highlights being a guitar battle between midori and mi-ya. The video also takes a short break to let you know when their album AWAKENING FROM ABYSS is released and when they’ll be touring in Japan.

“I’m an official member of the band now,” says mi-ya, who wrote Shadowmaker. “I promise to make LOVEBITES even more metal! I played my guitar to death recording this album, and wrote Shadowmaker while under the influence of Scandinavian metal. If people can sing along to the hook, I’m sure it will take our live shows to the next level!”

The tracklist for AWAKENING FROM ABYSS has also been revealed and features all four songs from the band’s first release THE LOVEBITES EP, which have been re-recorded and arranged especially for the album.
