Break out your fedora and get your notepads ready – Rockstar Games has announced that L.A. Noire will be released for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on November 14th.

The version on PS4 and Xbox One will include all released DLC and be enhanced with better textures, lighting and a host of other performance improvements while still running at 1080p. PS4 Pro and Xbox One X will benefit from 4k support.

On Switch, there’s no word of graphical improvements, but it will also include all previously released content and a specially designed Joy-Con mode. This feature includes gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble and contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work.

Finally, Rockstar also announced L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for HTC Vive. This version of the game features seven of the game’s original cases rebuilt specifically for VR. It’ll be released the same day as the current-gen console versions.

The 1940s set detective adventure following the police career of Cole Phelps was considered a fascinating – if flawed – game on its original release. The impressive facial technology, open-world Los Angeles and noir-drenched atmosphere all received much praise. It suffered, however, with some bizarre, off-kilter interrogation scenes and a slow slide into tedium in the final moments. Still, it’s a game well worth experiencing if you haven’t already.
