The official website for the live action film of Fullmetal Alchemist has been updated with a new poster featuring the main cast.

Directed by Fumihiko Sori (of Ping Pong and Vexille), the film adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s manga follows the brothers Edward (played by Ryosuke Yamada) and Alphonse. After a failed attempt using alchemy to resurrect their dead mother leaves Edward and Alphonse’s bodies severely damaged, they set off to find the Philosopher’s Stone in order to restore themselves.

The new poster includes 13 of the main cast: Edward Elric (Ryosuke Yamada), Alphonse Elric, Winry Rockbell (Tsubasa Honda), Roy Mustang (Dean Fujioka), Riza Hawkeye (Misako Renbutsu), General Hakuro (Fumiyo Kohinata), Maes Hughes (Ryuuta Satou), Maria Ross (Natsuna), Lust (Yasuko Matsuyuki), Envy (Kanata Hongo) and Gluttony (Shinji Uchiyama). Plus we get to see Major Shou Tucker (Yo Oizumi) and Doctor Marco (Jun Kunimura) for the first time. The Philosopher’s Stone is also there.

Fullmetal Alchemist opens in Japan on 1 December 2017.
