Square Enix has announced that, after a short beta period earlier this year, the multiplayer DLC for Final Fantasy XV will be released on October 31st.

‘Comrades’ will allow you to create your own character from the Kingsglaive and team up with three other players to take on quests and battles during the disappearance of Noctis in Chapter 13 of the main game.

You’ll be able to equip royal sigils to unlock special powers and customise your team to have a balanced range of abilities. Your character can also be enhanced further through a number of single player quests.

The Comrades DLC will also feature a brand new music track called Choosing Hope, composed by Nobuo Uematsu.

The Final Fantasy XV multiplayer DLC is available as part of the game’s season pass or as a separate purchase.
