At over 60 years old, Jackie Chan proves that he is still fighting fit. The year has already seen Chan star in Kung Fu Yoga. Then there is The Foreigner and Bleeding Steel incoming.

A new full-length trailer and character posters have been released for Bleeding Steel, a sci-fi thriller written and directed by Leo Zhang. Jackie Chan stars as a special forces agent who gets caught up in a conspiracy while protecting a young woman from an evil organisation. Years later, a sci-fi novel Bleeding Steel is published, and that’s when the bad guys with futuristic attire suddenly appear.

The trailer looks like a mix of two different films mashed together. But you get shootouts, explosions and a car crash. Plus, also see Tess Haubrich beating Chan up on top of the Sydney Opera House.

The film also stars Show Lo, Nana Ouyang, Erica Xia-Hou and Callan Mulvey, who each receive character posters (click to enlarge).

Bleeding Steel opens in China on 22 December 2017. There is currently no US or UK release date yet.
